It is possible at this opulent apartment located directly along the beginning of the Vondelpark near Amsterdam's main canals and just minutes walk from major museums like the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelyk Museum (or: Contemporary Art Museum) Amsterdam’s most prestigious shopping street with world famous designer boutiques, the P.C. Hooftstraat, is around the corner, just as many restaurants and bars.

With its antique furniture from the ‘Empire’ period (Napoleonic era), this apartment is unique in style and quality.

The apartment is 70 m² (750 sq ft) and on the second floor – the “BELETAGE”. The living and dining room have 'Empire' furniture, high ceilings with period mouldings and there’s a working fireplace (in addition to the central heating). The stylish reception room has 2 large windows and double doors to a French balcony that have a view on the park. The very quiet bedroom is in the back of the house with a double bed. The fresh flowers and discrete service are the main ingredients for this exclusive apartment.

This luxury apartment has a large drawing room facing the park and a room at the garden side of the building that includes a kitchen en dining area.

The apartment has a bedroom with double (not separable) bed.
Linens are made of highest quality egyptian cotton 400 threadcount and one can choose for two seperate duvets or one large one.
The bedroom is in the back, so it is very has a large window on the gardenside of the building and black-out blinds. In November 2004 the bedroom will be re-decorated very richly with Pompeian style fresco's; copy's taken from the Villa Domus Aurea in Rome. Artist imitation marble panelling and an 18th Century cut-glass hall lantern will make the bedroom truly stunning !

Area information
In Amsterdam's prestigious "Old-South / Museum quarter" area. Main museums as "Ryks museum", "Van Gogh museum", Contempory Art (Stedelyk museum) and famous Concertbuilding are around the block.
The city's foremost shoppingstreet (designer boutiques) around the corner. Also a large first class supermarket. Enter Amsterdam's main-canals + old center within minutes walking distance.




Travel information
From the airport: Take a train from the airport to World Trade Center. Change there for tramway number 5 in direction Central Station. Get off at "Ryksmuseum". From there it is 2 blocks walking.
This trip would take maximally 40 minutes and cost is approximately 4 euros.
A taxiride from the airport would take about 20 minutes and would cost around 40 euros.
From the train station: Central Station: Take tramline number 5 and get off at "Ryksmuseum", this takes maximally 15 minutes.
